A Transformation Specialist, Management Consultant and Author
Olumide Frederick Adetiba is a seasoned professional with a dual passion: fostering organizational growth through strategic human resource management and organizational development, and advocating for positive change in Africa.
As the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Madiba Foundation for Good Governance, he champions social equality within development initiatives for Africans and marginalized groups across the continent.
Olumide boasts a diverse career path, excelling in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. His experience includes pioneering HR, Admin, and Finance roles at Premium Times, ultimately rising to Director of Operations. In this leadership capacity, he also played a pivotal role in supporting the Premium Times Centre for Investigative Journalism (PTCIJ) – now the Center for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) – by effectively supporting the management of grants from prestigious international donors like the Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Throughout his career, Olumide has meticulously honed his skills in various domains, including human resource management, human capital development, administration, operations management, organizational development, and finance. His expertise extends to business development, project management, and navigating the intricacies of media management and relations. By leveraging this comprehensive skillset, Olumide empowers organizations and businesses to achieve their ambitious goals for transformation.
Driven by a deep commitment to good governance and youth empowerment in Africa, Olumide actively contributes to the Not-Too-Young-To-Run movement. His dedication extends beyond policy advocacy, as evidenced by his participation on the boards and advisory panels of several impactful organizations, including the Global Freedom Network, Finishers Initiative for Social Transformation, Center for Journalism Innovation and Development, Madiba Foundation for Good Governance, and Premium Times. Additionally, he serves as a Lead Steward at The Finishing Church.
Olumide’s academic background includes a Diploma in Social Work for Development and a BSc. in Sociology from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He furthered his studies with a Master’s degree in Sociology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and a professional diploma in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
Olumide is a prolific author, having co-edited and authored several books that explore themes like emerging leadership, the intersection of faith and governance, and personal growth journeys. Titles like “Emerging Remnants,” “Faith and Governance: Politics and Spirituality in Nation Building,” “40 Life Lessons at 40,” “Testimony To Courage,” and “Uncaged” showcase his diverse range of interests and perspectives.
