9 Years of God’s Mercy, Grace, and Faithfulness

Let me share three of these lessons with you—though I suspect there’s a fourth hidden somewhere. I hope you discover it!

Today, I reflect on the incredible journey God has taken us on, Lady Kemz, Iyawo mi atata. These nine years have been a testimony of God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness in our union. Through this marriage, I have come to know God in new and profound ways.

Let me share three of these lessons with you—though I suspect there’s a fourth hidden somewhere. I hope you discover it!

A Perfect God Creates Perfect Unions Early in our marriage, Lady Kemz and I boldly declared, “Our marriage is perfect.” At the time, many found it hard to understand, as it’s common to hear, “No marriage is perfect.” But God gave us a different revelation, and we’ve held on to it unwaveringly for nine years: Everything a perfect God does is perfect.
God’s Building Power Through Marriage In this season of life, I’ve witnessed God’s building dimension—using our union to shape, refine, and build us in ways I never imagined. Through our marriage, He has been perfecting our imperfections, making us Christlike, and equipping us to fulfill His end-time purposes. I now see marriage as one of God’s tools for sanctification and transformation.
A Revelation of Divine Intimacy As I reflect on the closeness we share—the way we cherish each other and always long to be together—God has used this as a profound lesson for me. He showed me that the depth of intimacy we enjoy mirrors the kind of closeness He desires with His children. This understanding has transformed my walk with God, making me more intentional about seeking intimate, quality moments with Him.

The last nine years have been nothing short of phenomenal. Our union continues to grow sweeter and stronger, a living testament to Proverbs 4:18: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

Lady Kemz, Iyawo mi atata, I love you even more today than I did on the day this journey began. I am grateful to God for the love and life we share. You are my perfect partner, the one He designed just for me. Together, we reflect His perfection, and I wouldn’t have it any other way—it’s simply perfect.
